Acid Reign
Teenage thrash metal band of the late 80s / early 90s, notorious at the time for their
Viz-esque sense of humour and 'wacky' stage antics.
Japing aside, they had a fine selection of riffs, albeit hampered
by singer H's prepubescent yelping.
Unable to survive in the poker-faced world of extreme metal,
they split up in 1991, several members going on to join Sabbath-worshipping doom-metallers
Cathedral.
